Nike+ keeps track of speed and distance for runners. Lapview keeps track of speed and distance for swimmers.

HOW IT WORKS
Lapview connects to all watches with the Ant+ logo (like this one) and iPhones with an Ant+ dongle (like this one). The Lapview sensor attaches to your goggle-strap to measure lap count and lap time during the swim. The swimmer can wear a watch to see lap count real-time and/or transmit the data after the workout.

HOW IT’S DIFFERENT
There are lap counting watches (here and here) but no lap counting sensors. Lapview communicates with the same watch you use for your other athletic activity (run, bike, ski, etc.). Triathletes value using a single device to capture their workouts and a bunch of sensors that are specific to each sport.

AVAILABILITY
Lapview is not yet publicly available. Lapview may license our technology to companies to bring this product to market.
